I usually post this on Sunday, but last week was Spring break and didn’t get home until late Sunday night, and spent yesterday trying to catch up. So, here I am, finally getting ready to post last week’s work out on a Tuesday. Like I said, I was on Spring Break (in Florida on the beach!), so my work outs didn’t involve a gym at all, and since I’m still not really running, that pretty much left walking, and walk I did. Here’s what I did this week:
- Sunday: 4 mile walk on beach
- Monday: 6 mile walk
- Tuesday: 7.5 mile walk
- Wednesday: 4 mile walk
- Thursday: 4 mile walk, 2 minutes plank
- Friday: 1.1 mile run (!!!), 4 mile walk
- Saturday: 5 mile walk
Total Miles: 34.5 mile walk, 1.1 mile run, 2 min plank
No excuses when it comes to working out on vacation, right? Also- did you notice. I RAN A MILE while there. It was beautiful and pain free, and I had a huge smile on my face the entire time.
Lesson Learned: Working out on vacation is very doable, especially on the beach! I had to be much more hydrated before my workouts though!
Biggest Struggle: Planks were my struggle this week, and I don’t think I’m going to hit my goal of 50 minutes this month. I’m only at 35 minutes so far, with only a few days left to go…
Now it’s your turn to share: What’s one accomplishment from the past week that you’ve experienced?

There’s no shame in posting last week’s workout no Tuesday (that’s when I posted mine hehe)! Congrats on working out while you were on vacation, that’s awesome! Also congrats on your RUN!
My big accomplishment of last week was my new longest distance of 6.2 mi (10k)! Still feels crazy that I’ll be doing 13.1 in 2 months, but 6 seemed crazy a few months ago haha.

Congrats on your 10k! That’s a huge accomplishment!!

I ran 30km last week, I’ve never run that much before.

Running on the beach is so much better than running anywhere else. The sand makes for a great surface with a lot less impact, and you just cannot beat the views. I ran every day when I was in Florida last October. My shins did not act one up one time. I’m fairly certain I should just move there. 🙂
My big accomplishment of last week was doing a two hour session of physical therapy with almost no pain!

You know, if I blogged about health and fitness, I might actually do some of it. You are inspiring me!
What am I proud of? Starting my A to Z challenge early!

Great job working out every day on vacation. I have been working on changing some of my poor diet/exercise related habits. I have been doing really well with not eating in the middle of the night.

Changing habits can be really tough, so keep up the great work!
