Well, after weeks of worrying about this half marathon and wondering how my IT band would hold up, I set out to run my 2nd half marathon this morning. My IT band certainly gave me a run for my money and felt unpleasant for 12 of the 13 miles, but I pushed through and crossed the finish line again this morning!

My finish time was 2:31:48, which is 22 minutes faster than my half marathon PR from 6 months ago. I crushed my previous time and I couldn’t be more happy about it.

I will have a race recap up Sunday or Monday, but I wanted to let you all know that I not only finished, but I crushed it:) Thanks for the support and encouragement throughout training!
